What is LSD?

 

LSD, or Lysergic Diethylamide, is a psychedelic drug that alters one's senses and surroundings. It typically comes in the form of a "tab" that users place in their mouths. LSD is not physically addictive, it can be psychologically addictive and cause long term effects such as anxiety and paranoia.

LSD was Created in 1938 but wasn't popular until the 60s when harvard professor timothy Leary advocated for the drugs use and encouraged its use among students.

The DEA and us government classify LSD as a schedule 1 drug, meaning that it has no medical purpose and high risks associated with its use.

What does LSD look like?

 

LSD tabs are absorbent pieces of paper that are decorated with colorful images or pictures. The substance itself is odorless, colorless and has a bitter taste.
